Lasagne and Scotch eggs... Sunday dinner 25th





Lasagne
Cook sliced onions with garlic and ginger in oil. Add grated carrot, tomatoes and mince and cook until browned. Add Worcester sauce, and salt and pepper. Add flour and water and mix well. Simmer one hour.  I did not have any tomato paste so added some chilli sauce and a spoon of sugar.
Make a white sauce. Cook onions, add flour and milk and simmer stirring until thickened. Add grated cheese and salt and pepper and parsley.
Line a pan with Lasagne pasta sheets, add third of mince mixture and third of sauce. Add another layer of pasta and repeat. Add final layer and white sauce on top. Sprinkle breadcrumbs, some grated cheese and parsley on top and bake 40 minutes 180C
